How long to get a tax transcript after filing recent year-end?

After filing my 2008 taxes and having them accepted, how long would it typically be for me to call the IRS and request a transcript of that year's taxes? How long to get a tax transcript after filing recent year-end?
You must wait at least 6 weeks after you filed and IRS processes your return to request a transcript of your account. If you need the W2 transcript you must wait until after August 2009 to request them.

Assuming you didn't keep a copy, you could request a transcript as soon as the return has been processed. You would know that it has been if you receive a refund or a balance due notice.
You could just keep a copy then you dont need a transcript.
Allow at least 3 weeks.
