Would a withdrawal on my transcript hurt my chances to transfer to another college?

Im attending a community college and Im taking 4 classes and I want to drop 3 of them because I decided I want to work this semester and take those same 3 classes next semester. I am planning to transfer to a university so I what I want to know is will the 3 withdrawals on my transcript hurt my chances for transfer admission into the university or they wouldnt care? Please help ASAP thanks. Would a withdrawal on my transcript hurt my chances to transfer to another college?
Yes, an unauthorized ';W'; on your transcript will affect your chances of transferring to a four-year university. However, if you make up the classes you've dropped next semester, the ';W'; might turn into a letter grade, depending on your college's course forgiveness policy. Make sure you talk to your academic counselor before you do anything! The bottom line is that universities want dedicated students, not flakes. You have your whole life to work- tough it out and get that education!Would a withdrawal on my transcript hurt my chances to transfer to another college?
What you need to do is not withdraw, but arrange to take incompletes. You get a temporary grade of ';I'; that changes to a real grade when you finish the courses next semester. It will be as if you never dropped them.

It's a good idea to get started setting this up ASAP, because you have to get it approved first, and there's typically a deadline for filing.

Good luck!
