Can a university send your transcript and other documents you have to another university?

i applied to one university around the area i live( i handed all the documents and transcripts i needed). if i don't get accepted to that university and i want to try again applying to another university later on, will they be able to send my transcripts to my second choice university? instead of calling my high school again for my transcripts?Can a university send your transcript and other documents you have to another university?
Nope--they would not do that. It doesn't serve them any purpose and would cost them money. More importantly, colleges require that you provide ';official'; transcripts, which means they were sent directly from the registrar of the attended institution to the admissions office of the new, without having been opened (and possibly tampered with) so even IF a college would be willing to forward them to another college, the 2nd choice college would not accept them because they would have been opened and would no longer be ';official.';
