How do I obtaine a transcript from a college that has since closed?

I went to Phillips College in Riverside California back in 1991 and 1992 and they have since closed.How do I obtaine a transcript from a college that has since closed?
As Perdie mentioned--call the DOE. The school had to forward the transcripts somewhere for safekeeping. We had the same situation at work and was able to track down the information.How do I obtaine a transcript from a college that has since closed?
Call the Department of Education in the State where the college used to operate. They can probably tell you what to do.
