When does your school start to send out your high school transcript?

I havent taken the SAT yet but I want to. Now the problem is that I could take it in Oct but the place to take the test is kind of far from my house now if I wait until Nov to take it it would be alot easier because the test site is closer. But if my stuff is going to be late I'll take the longer trip but if it isn't I rather not. So im wondering when do they send your transcript stuff out?When does your school start to send out your high school transcript?
It depends on the requirements of the schools to which you are applying. Some schools have rolling admission, and so they would need to have a copy of your transcript earlier than lets say a school with a January deadline.





Oh, and your HS transcript and your SAT are not the same thing. The argument for taking your SAT in October is that if you don't do well you have more time to take it again.





But to answer your question, your transcript gets sent when you request it be sent; typically some time between September and January, depending on what colleges you are applying to.
