I know that for the high school transcript to be official, it needs to be in a sealed envelope. So is it just a regular envelope? Normally is it just glue that sealed the envelope? Does it have any special kind of thing to stick on the envelope and seal it?What is a high school transcript in a sealed envelope look like?
Any official transcript has to be an original copy and must be sealed. The envelop itself is often sealed and sent directly to any schools to which the student may have applied; most schools also have some kind of 'seal', like that on a birth certificate or that a Notary Public would use.
What's up with all the curiosity about how it's sealed, anyway? Any evidence of 'tampering' with the envelop makes it useless, by the way (and may violate the school regulations, as well). Schools tend to take this sort of thing very seriously. What is a high school transcript in a sealed envelope look like?
I smell a rat.
