I don't have a HS transcript, and I am going to a community college next year. I was wondering if I could transfer to another college later on without a HS transcript. Can I go a community college without a HS transcript and then to another college?
It is up to the individual college. Everyone has different admissions requirements. I would say to call their registrars office to find out. Good Luck. Can I go a community college without a HS transcript and then to another college?
Yes! Great plan. Once you've accumulated sufficient college credits at your CC, any University could accept you as a ';transfer student.'; Transfer students don't need to present HS transcipts for admissions.
If you have a specific university in mind, follow their GE's or common core curriculum as closely as possible at your CC.
Just contact your high school for a transcript, or the college might do that for you. I graduated high school over 11 years ago and am now getting back to school today with no problems. I had to go to my old school a couple of years ago to get a transcript for an employer.
Once you have a college transcript (from your community college), most other colleges and universities won't care much about high school. However, you should look up the college you are planning to transfer to and find out more about their application requirements.
No you can not go to a community college with out a HS transcript. they will need your transcript see what class you will at there school, and to see what level to put you at.
Since you're going to have college transcripts with hours, I don't think your new college would ask for a HS transcript. They would probably want the previous school which is community college.
