I am applying for a police officer job, and they need a certified copy of my high school transcript.How do I know If my high school transcript is certified?
just make sure it's signed at the bottom...and they'll most likely give it to you sealed so don't open it...it has to be SEALED when you give it the person who requested it.How do I know If my high school transcript is certified?
When you ask the school for a certified transcript you tell them it has to be 'certified'. (There may be a charge for this.) All it means is that you nor anyone else have not had the opportunity to tamper with the information on the document. The school will likely have to mail it directly to the prospective employer.
